Home: Who We Are

ABOUT US

We are four Indian-Americas students from California who have witnessed the troubles that children in India face at a young age, which were problems we never had to endure. With the use of online platforms, we hope to educate underprivileged children and teens about the importance of mental and physical health, sanitation/hygiene, and nutrition.

The Prerna Initiative is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. We work on many exciting projects to help improve the lives of others, and are very proud of the progress we continue to make. Learn more about what we do, who we help, and how we work every day to promote positive change.

INTERESTED IN PARTNERING WITH US?

We are looking organizations to partner with us to expand our initiative and reach out to those in need. Does your organization advocate for underprivileged children and teens? If so, be sure to contact us at theprernainitiative@gmail.com! We are always striving to make a difference, so we invite you to learn more and lend your support.

WHAT IS OUR GOAL?

Around 19.8 million children under the age of 6 are underprivileged in India. At The Prerna Initiative, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Creating more opportunities and educating India's deprived youth is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area.
